I recently watched a science program about how the moon and earth are drifting apart. Apparently disaster will ensue when space between the earth and moon widens. I tuned in while the show was already in progress so I was becoming increasingly horrified until it was revealed that it would be over a million years before actual disaster happened.
A million years?! Whew, we are dodging the bullet on that one. It was all very informative science stuff. When the program concluded there was a warning that some of the effects of possible future events had been enhanced for dramatic effect. That little blurb has helped me understand Algore and global warming.
First we have to understand that Algore is a pseudo intellectual progressive liberal demoracist. So we know that means he has an ego maniacal, we are the world and fount of all knowledge mentality. What if sometime in the past he was sitting around watching a late night science show about the possibility of global warming. What if there were no program ending caution about enhanced effects for drama? A movement is born.
I think a caution statement should be mandatory for all science programs that have been enhanced for dramatic effect. It can be titled the mandatory Algore drama warning. Perhaps that will prevent us from being annoyed by old drama queens, mindless twits, Chicken Littles, and other assorted pseudo intellectuals with their bad science alarums.
I propose we put some thrusters on the moon and slow it down. It would only cost a couple of trillion… much less than AGW fixes. That would keep it in a constant orbit until earth tidal actions accelerate the moon again.

The Duck shows up occasionally. I think even the Duck has trouble defending his more radical ideas in the Obama era. The Duck believes that cash is king and debt bad. I think that even he thinks that Obama taking us into debt in multiples of trillions is insane.
