After NPR chose to eulogize the great Howard Zinn with commentary fro David Horowitz they may be gunning for first place.
Let’s see how much we can pander to the right wing. That should get the nation moving again.
Bubba, may I assume you aren’t planning on seeing “The People Speak” or “Marx in Soho”? Too bad, Zinn was a talented writer.
I know that Howard Zinn’s works such as, A People’s History of the United States, have been described as groundbreaking books. I describe his works as entertainment for pseudo intellectual progresswive liberal mindless twits. Hopefully the entertainment keeps them off the streets and prevents them from annoying normal people.
No kidding, and the picture is bleaker every day. The country is broker than that panhandler I gave the $5 to last week.
2 1/2 wars going to secure our oil supply, infrastructure worn out, healthcare costs going into the stratosphere, pandemics of obesity and narcissism, foreclosures, homelessness, jobs disappearing like a preachers promise, zero chance of that “recovery” the talking heads are yapping about, frigging dirt-stupid politicians talking about reigning in “entitlements”, and the lunatics are looking to Sarah Palin as their savior. Don’t look too close, it’ll make you abuse chemicals.
It’s not that complicated Ducky. You know what they say, “If you find yourself in a hole, quit digging.” That would be apropos. Equally apropos would be that if you find yourself in debt to stop spending. Simple lessons that the pseudo intellectual progressive liberals in congress don’t seem to be able to comprehend.
In the meantime back at the rancho the little senorita bubbette paid off about eight bank cards last year. One more this month and then a couple of signature loans will leave us with one car note at our credit union. We will probably get another new truck this year and let it go at that.
I don’t intend to do business with banks again – the crooks, especially BA and Chase. I went into Chase today to cash a customer’s check for my son and they charged me $6.00 to cash their paper for their customer’s money. That is robbery in my book.
I’ve never had the pleasure of dealing with Chase. BofA? The board should be dipped in phlegm and allowed to harden, what a freaking parcel of rogues.
Good time to be out of debt, Bubba. Good time indeed. I’ve been clear for many years now. Cash is my friend.
