I was just reading an article, “Reid Compares Opponents of Health Care Reform to Supporters of Slavery.” Is this guy for real? Did people in the state of Nevada really vote for this mindless twit? Surely there were pre-election clues to his instability. Nevadans! You can do better. Vote this mindless twit out of office.
Personally, I believe that supporters of Harry Reid, MT-Nevada, are obviously supporters of ignorance.
Here in Northern Nevada (Reno area) we’re trying to get rid of him. We’re up against not only Democrates but the Las Vegas area in general. The best candidate if you want a true conservative is Sharron Angle of Reno. The main other contender, Tarkanian of Vegas, has name recognition and no political record though he’ll probably get a lot of Republican support, while Sharron has the record and what it takes to win elections. She’s a gem. Please go read her website and pass on the information to friends, and encourage people to donate to her campaign.

My main concern in this race, and others, is that the Republican leadership do not create another upstate New York fiasco. Talk about divide and conquer! The demoracists sat back to await the conquering while the Repubs divided theirself.
And the next line is: so we have to throw our support behind whoever has the best chance of winning? Seems to make sense but do we need another RINO in the Senate? I don’t feel right about Tarkanian (or any of the others) and I want a real conservative to run against Reid. Angle has a great record of aggressive campaigning in the past, personal door to door work and that’s how she won her local office and kept it. If people keep backing off supporting the best candidate because the inferior guy looks like he “has a better chance” that becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Upstate New York and the SRCC endorsement of Charlie Crist did it for me. I have pulled back from being a Republican to a conservative position. I want to see conservative values candidates. I want to vote for supporters of our Constitution. I am fed up with RINOs, compromise and most of all collegiality. The pseudo intellectual progressive liberal demoracists running this country (into the ground) have all the collegiality of a den of rattlesnakes. We spent eight years listening to the calls for collegiality that supposedly was supposed to exist in Congress. Are you starting to feel stupid and abused yet Republican members of Congress? Do you understand collegiality yet, or, do you intend to continue to be clueless about what the pseudo intellectual progressive liberal demoracists have been doing to you?
The theory is that the majority wins an election. If we vote for someone with our values theoretically we can win if a majority shares our values. I don’t believe that we can win by making our values all or nothing. There are, to be sure, values that I would not want to compromise on for any reason. However, many of the social issues of the day contain some room for compromise.
