A dangerous British teenager who sent an email to the White House calling Hussein a “p***k” has been banned from America FOR LIFE. Joanne Ferreira, of the US Department of Homeland Security, was quoted as saying there are about 60 reasons a person can be barred. I guess calling the President a p***k is one, but, that whets my curiosity what the other 59 reasons could be.
Personally I think that we are seeing a one upmanship duel over which country can be dumber. They ban Michael Savage from visiting the United King. We ban a dangerous teenager. Who’s next? The Morman Tabernacle Choir and we retaliate by banning Rowan Atkinson?
barracked past participle, past tense of bar·rack (Verb)1. Jeer loudly at (someone performing or speaking in public) in order to express disapproval or to create a distraction: “opponents barracked him when he addressed the opening parliamentary session”.
Hussein opened today’s news conference with the observation that “we” would be, “Continuing our efforts to dig our way out of this recession.” There it is! Has anyone ever dug theirselves out of a hole? Was there ever any doubt that “shovel ready projects” was code for enlarging the enormous deficit canyon that has been created over the last two years?
