Philadelphia Seeks Benjamins From Bloggers

August 28th, 2010 · Uncategorized

If you ask most bloggers, they’ll tell you they’re not looking to the Internet as a serious moneymaking exercise. But the city of Philadelphia sees it otherwise and is targeting bloggers who use Google AdSense or other revenue-producing vehicles on their websites to register with the city and pay for a $50 per year “privilege license.” The City of Brotherly Love also gives bloggers the option of paying a $300 “lifetime” toll. The fee applies whether they raise sufficient revenue to pay the fee or not, and most bloggers don’t.

There’s no doubt that these small, Internet-based “businesses” are ensnared in a web of regulation that’s intended to raise revenue from traditional brick-and-mortar operations. This racket boils down to government types not being content to see dollars changing hands without getting their take. Worse still, the idea is sure to spread to other cities and states. Look for something similar to be enacted in a blue state or city near you.   ”The Patriot Post (www.patriotpost.us/subscribe/ )”

I am sure that we can find a spot in The Tax Poem for the line “Tax their blog.”

The Tax Poem

Tax his land,
Tax his bed,
Tax the table At which he’s fed.

Tax his tractor,
Tax his mule,
Teach him taxes Are the rule.

Tax his work,
Tax his pay,
He works for peanuts Anyway!

Tax his cow,
Tax his goat,
Tax his pants,
Tax his coat.
Tax his ties,
Tax his shirt,
Tax his work,
Tax his dirt.

Tax his tobacco,
Tax his drink,
Tax him if he
Tries to think.

Tax his cigars,
Tax his beers,
If he cries
Tax his tears.

Tax his car,
Tax his gas,
Find other ways
To tax his ass.

Tax all he has
Then let him know
That you won’t be done
Till he has no dough.

When he screams and hollers;
Then tax him some more,
Tax him till He’s good and sore.

Then tax his coffin,
Tax his grave,
Tax the sod in
Which he’s laid.

Put these words
Upon his tomb,
‘Taxes drove me
to my doom…’

When he’s gone,
Do not relax,
Its time to apply
The inheritance tax.

Economy Headed in Right Direction

August 24th, 2010 · Uncategorized

According to trusty ol’ Joe Biden there is “no doubt we’re moving [the economy] in the right direction.” I guess that ol’ Joe means the economy is headed off a slightly lower part of the cliff. This was posted today on the Chicage Tribune “The Swamp” blog “Biden: ‘We’ve seen this movie before.’

“The Swamp” also reported that Vice President Biden today played attack dog for the White House, accusing Rep. John Boehner (R) of being “nostalgic” for the failed economic policies of the Bush administration.

Failed economic policies of the Bush administration? Quick, everyone who would like to return to Bush’s “failed economic policies” raise your hand. Are you kidding me, Bidien? The biggest reason for the economic downturn was the Queen of the Senate’s unnatural affection for using Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac for social engineering that failed miserabloy taking down the economy down with them.

Harry Reid, Amigo de los Hispanos

August 11th, 2010 · Uncategorized

Dingy Harry ponders the thought, “I don’t know how anyone of Hispanic heritage could be a Republican.” I don’t know about Republican, specifically, but I know that most independent minded Hispanics would not vote for a burro pendejo like you and your ilk.

It is getting inceasingly more difficult for flyover America to stomach, much less vote for, the clueless Hussein administration. Esto incluye los hispanos, baboso.

The Streets of Monrovia

August 5th, 2010 · Uncategorized

Martha and I were driving up Myrtle Street, in Monrovia, when I spotted this scene.  What’s this?  Are the natives of California getting restless about Obama?  We turned around and came back down Myrtle Street so I could take a picture.  I decided a closer investigation was in order.  They were set up outside of Bank of America and I needed to go in for a withdrawal.

Imagine my surprise to find out that this was a Lyndon LaRouche sponsored petition.  Imagine how fast I avoided these folks on my way in the bank!

I think the LaRouche folks are taking advantage of the more mainstream fruits and nuts who have all gone to Arizona to tell those folks how to run their state.

On an unrelated note, I saw my first TARP signs on this road trip.  I have seen them in New Mexico and California, but not Arizona.  Go figure.  Those signs must be a major California industry judging by their numbers.

This Weeks Meltdowns Were Fabulous

July 31st, 2010 · Uncategorized

The week started out with Howard “AAARRRRGH” Dean smugly atttempting to rewrite events while being interviewed by Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday. Wallace quickly turned the fool into a speechless fool.

Amazingly, Monday Dr. AAARRRRGH was still playing the simpleton leading to Brett Baier administering another strong dose of the truth.

The grand finale was the wienie from New York, The Honorable Anthony Wiener, D-NY9, losing it on the House floor. Watch the vein on his right temple that looks like it is going to pop at any moment.

Too Much to Hope For?

July 26th, 2010 · Uncategorized

I wish that quotes provided daily by  The Patriot Post was required reading for the pseudo intellectual progressive liberal ruling class slugs in Washington.  The egotistical maniacs are beguiled by the bedazzling glare of their own ignorance mistaking it for intellect.  Their collective intellectual heresies have led to disreputable fallacies like “living Constitution” and we are not a Christian nation with laws based on Judeo-Christian principles.

Be careful America because these intellectual heresies could be fatal to your life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Here is today’s quote.

“It becomes all therefore who are friends of a Government based on free principles to reflect, that by denying the possibility of a system partly federal and partly consolidated, and who would convert ours into one either wholly federal or wholly consolidated, in neither of which forms have individual rights, public order, and external safety, been all duly maintained, they aim a deadly blow at the last hope of true liberty on the face of the Earth.” –James Madison, Notes on Nullification

“NOT the White Man’s bitch.”

July 25th, 2010 · Uncategorized

Ieshuh Griffinis running for political office as an independent candidate for the Wisconsin State Assembly.  Independent candidates in Wisconsin are allowed five words, on the ballot, to describe their statement of purpose.  Ieshuh Griffin chose the slogan,  ”NOT the White Man’s bitch.”

Wisconsin’s Government Accountability Board has ruled that Griffin’s five little words were “pejorative in nature.”  How could that be a pejorative in this age of decline of the “white” man, all things “white,” and the “white” western European culture?

We now know, according to the elected intellectual giants of the land – the pseudo intellectual progressive liberal mindless twit ruling class, that we owe this huge failure of a country to those mean spirited dead “white” European guys Founding Fathers.  That is why we need to understand we are “NOT the White Man’s bitch,” even if we are unfortunate to have been born “white.”

They talked about this on “Redeye” with Greg Gutfield, and his evil sidekick Bill Schulz.  Those who have never seen “Redeye” are missing a real treat.

Treat yourself to some “Redeye” clips.
